I hope everyone who reads this understand how amazing the technology is today. Someone reached out to me from Facebook marketplace who saw one of my paintings online. The person lives in Norfolk Virginia, which is wonderful that I can reach people anywhere. She commissioned me to paint a landscape from a photograph she took of Mount Baker in Washington.
Her photo was taken in December with extraordinarily little color. So, we decided to add color to her painting. We agreed on the canvas size of 48 inches wide by 36 inches high.
On completion of the painting, I sent her a photo of the finished painting for approval. I had gotten an estimate from UPS of the shipping cost from New Jersey to Norfolk Virginia, there were no surprises.
All is well that ends well, the painting was received without any damage. One incredibly happy client and one happy artist. Who will I help next?
